F.A.R.T. are Europes largest manufacturer of transformers for neon signs.
They have been producing neon transformers since 1945; and it was in 1980 that after years of research they produced the first vacuum-sealed epoxy resin neon transformer. Called the Resinblock this transformer revolutionised the manufacture and installation of neon signs. By producing an epoxy resin compound which, when hardened due to a polymerization process, acts as both an isolation system for the windings and external protection. This allows for a transformer that does not require large and often bulky transformer boxes for external use. Indeed, because the main body of the transformer contains no metal, it retains its appearance without corrosion. To date, approximately seven million of these Resinblock transformers have been produced.
